Please check back on this post throughout the 1.19.4 release cycle for any further changes you should be aware of.Īs foreshadowed with the 1.18 release, commons-lang has now been removed from the API. There are no intentional API breakages but do note that there may be slight unavoidable changes. You can view a complete summary of the API changes between 1.19.3 and 1.19.4 at this link. Mirroring Vanilla, JOML, a Java math library, has been provisionally included in the API in order to simplify the complex math operations required for some Display entity APIs. If you use SnakeYAML directly, please consider preparing your plugin for the 2.0 version by adding Options parameters where applicable. This version is more secure by default, however contains some breaking API changes. Please note that it is planned to upgrade to SnakeYAML 2.0 in the next version. As always, if you have an idea for an API please let us know, or have a go at implementing them yourself for the benefit of all Spigot users. We hope you will find these APIs useful and encourage you to try them out. Thank you to the contributors of these API, and of course all Spigot contributors.

Until then you are advised to keep production servers on 1.19.3 and monitor carefully for changes. 1.19.4 will become the default version in the coming weeks. Please review the 1.19 release notes for further information about this release series.

APIs for these new features are present and there are no significant changes to existing APIs. As with Vanilla, experimental features such as sniffers are available through the experimental datapack, however please note their status as experimental. This is intended to be a minor Spigot release, with the next major release being 1.20. A short time ago Mojang released Minecraft 1.19.4 and we have now also updated.
